Lost Property

Lost items, it is a mystery to me. How did things get lost? They are mindless, soul-less being! But they do, usually when they are bored with my ownership tenor, but evidence shows sometimes they don’t even bother waiting, just disappear even as brand-new acquaintance. My kindie school bag, iPhones, Blacberries, purse and staff ID oh my goodness…

Have you wondered if it was I losing my stuff or my stuff simply got lost? I cannot commit myself to actually lose things but from time to time I get lost even in my most familiar neighbourhood. I guess as an inspiring person as I am, even my stuff get the radiating impact from my get-lost-ness and simply gotten lost. Did you wonder if it was Mary and Joseph lose Jesus when they brought him back to Jerusalem during the Feast of Passover? Or did Jesus find His way to the synagogue (i.e. He got lost) Himself and lost His parents Mary and Joseph? I choose to believe my stuff just got lost themselves.

It definitely require some self-control and/or self-discipline to steward/ shepherd my belongings. I may have bottled myself with way much work-stress, consumed with my relational matters, overwhelmed by my late activities. I declare curfew from now on until further notice. It is now to be a doer, not a time for a beer! I tallied my amazing inventory of lost, if one can win a trophy on how many lost properties you reported, I am quite confident that I am on the elite RHS of the bell curve.

On the topic of “Lost” this page kept losing what I typed and reload as blank. So in closing, I want to make a paradigm shift in view of losing stuff. It may be devastating when losing my phone permanently and not knowing where are my purse and IDs, but there are flip sides to things. I get to resume to use an order version of iPhone which fits perfectly to my hobbit-sized palm; and the further lost of purse and IDs prompt me to curfew and quality time to fish research which ended the longest procrastination. First sharing of my digital-doodling to end this paragraph. It may be a shame to lose that kite, but the kite is now unbound to free flow to wherever the wind may blow and can really look back and focus on the field which is at time of harvest.
