“Growing up” in a Greek family did not me any Greeker except perhaps my maths were better in comparison. I remember hating the Egyptian-Greek decor of my room when I stepped into my homestay family back in my Aussie days. Oh well, thereafter we had countless stories to tell, but for another time.

Prior to Australia, my life was simple. Home-School-HelpMyParents-Homework-Sleep and repeat. I had friends, from school and they are still in touch, only the remnants 🤷🏻‍♀️ One thing I know about myself before knowing Christ is that I am so funny that by osmosis you can laugh by sitting around me. Australia didn’t make me less funny, in fact the other way around and in English even! I almost failed English (I didn’t understand why I need to learn English so it was one of my nap time in English classes), anyhow, I grew in Australia 🇦🇺

From Australia 🇦🇺 I moved to Shanghai 🇨🇳 and then back to Hong Kong 🇭🇰 plus one special year in Tokyo 🇯🇵 featuring a broken hearted me. After years of growing, I know my ups and downs. My time and His time and each time, it is an acquired taste at first but always better afterwards. At least the after taste counts.

This time, I am not the funny one, but a ball of offence. I wish I have a machine telling me what did I do wrong. It is literally by osmosis I offended many. It hurts when your dearest ones left you and hurt more when knowing they were hurt by you, by your mere existence. It is actually ugly and crap, but let’s not peek into the oven and let it fully bake.

It may be end of the relationship but nevertheless not the end for me. God has not done with me yet. It is now a time for Him to undo and redo and a new thing will come to being because He is the Creator, He makes all things new. This is now me time with God, because it is Kairos time.
